This 1 to 5-stop, 82mm Nano-X Pro Series Combination CPL + ND Filter from K&F Concept combines a circular polarizing filter with a variable neutral density filter into a single convenient filter. Well suited to landscape photography, the circular polarizer function reduces reflection and glare, and helps reduce haze in landscapes. It helps to deepen the tone of foliage, making it stand out. The variable neutral density can increase the density of the entire image area from 1 to 5 stops. Increasing neutral density offers finer control in available shutter speeds or aperture settings for both still and video applications. Using a longer shutter speed makes it possible to increase motion blur to convey a sense of movement, or to dial in a video camera frame rate. Increased density also makes it possible to shoot using wider lens apertures, helping to isolate a subject from the background.
